The ARC Training Centre for M3D Innovation will train a new generation of PhD students and Postdocs in the emerging area of Digital Materials and Advanced Manufacturing. You can join projects at either the Australian National University (ANU) in Canberra or at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane. All projects are run in collaboration with our industry partners and promise to deliver real-world outcomes with ground-breaking results within diverse fields. Students will have a unique opportunity to obtain practical experience through industry-based research training with innovative industry partners.
We are looking for PhD students for the following projects:
Candidates must hold a 1st class or upper 2nd class Bachelor or Master degree in Material or Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Biology, Physics or in a related field of research; or equivalent. Knowledge of programming, modelling or image processing and demonstrated ability to create impact for industry partners is desirable.
Training Centre PhD scholarships will be for a period of three years with the possibility of 6 months extension. The project budgets include generous support for conference, workshop and meeting travel.
